I asked Carrol (the founder) if there were any opportunities to volunteer near me and she made it so easy to sign up for the Toy Shop! She was so helpful and it was such a good volunteer experience. I’m so glad I was able to participate and I’ll be looking for more opportunities to volunteer with her organization soon!

Mission: The mission of our organization is to use home cooked meals as a bridge to get the unhoused access to resources they need to become self sufficient.
Results: We have distributed over 600 meals. We have assisted 20 individuals into housing (temporary and permanent). We have assisted 5 individuals into rehabilitation.
Target demographics: Homeless individuals get access to resources

Programs: Hot meals. Care bags. Information to rehabilitation centers, information to jobs that are hiring, information to Medical and dental clinics, and information on where to seek housing.
