Mission: Programs for the elderly
Programs: Chore program - provides housekeeping services for people over 60 years of age, and schedules snow removal and lawn mowing services through independent contractors. The chore program served 304 people. Through the semaaa grant they provided 4,191. 5 hours of service and through the county program they provided 9,487 hours of service.
volunteer transportation service - provided volunteer drivers for medical appointments and light errands. Provided 2,300 rides for seniors through the semaaa program and 1,284 to non seniors through the volunteer driver service.
group activities - various projects of a social nature. Provided activities for senior citizens. Has approximately 36,200 participants.
advocacy program and caregiver respite - assist, support and provide services to people over 60 years of age to enable them to live independently. During the 2017 year the advocacy program serviced approximately 1,476 people and made 7,349 contacts.
