Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Our mission is to sustain and enhance the trees of Mountain View, California, through community stewardship, education and advocacy.
Target demographics: Environmentally aware people who thoroughly enjoy the innumerable benefits of a healthy, abundant urban forest.
Direct beneficiaries per year: We have planted about 44 trees in the first two years of our organization. We are working toward non-profit status and are currently under the umbrella of Canopy of Palo Alto for one more year. We have been a steady presence at the Farmer's Market every few months educating shoppers on the benefits of trees, helping them with their questions and signing up volunteers for our tree surveys, plantings and other activities.
