Causes: Homeless & Housing, Homeless Shelters
Mission: Montclair emergency services for the homeless, inc. (mesh) is a local, faith-based organization dedicated to engaging the montclair community to provide basic and essential services to montclair's most vulnerable homeless adults.
Programs: Mesh engages the montclair community to provide basic and essential services to montclair's homeless and near-homeless adults. We serve evening meals six days each week and provide overnight respite in extreme weather.
mesh provides food and housing for 7 to 10 homeless college students during school breaks (winter, spring and summer). Mesh pays bloomfield college to keep their dorms open and allow these students to stay on campus until regular school session resumes and provides students with food cards.
