Programs: Selective traffic enforcement programs - provides grants to 15 - 20 counties to enable them to continue selective traffic enforcement.
annual convention - provde training and education of officers in montana, approximately 100 officers attend. Increase public awareness of criminal activities with a special emphasis on child abuse,restraint laws, buckle-up awareness, gun lock and underage drinking laws and enforcement.
jail diversion / mentally ill - provide grants for counties to develop options to incarceration.
