Programs: Community naturalist program - curriculum for community & civic groups to promote an appreciation and understanding of nature through various educational programs - celebrating wildflowers, international migratory bird day, adopt-a-species, heritage programs and interpretation.
youth forest monitoring program - a mentoring program to promote an understanding and appreciation of our national forests to area youth through an internship of scientific monitoring education program, with hands-on activities and stewardship.
a forest for every classroom - a professional development program for teachers on place-based education.
volunteer program - recruit volunteers to assist with programs and stewardship on the helena national forest and provide services to the community regarding natural resource educations and activities.
