Programs: Service link program provides services that are designed to help people get access to services and benefits to which they are entitled in cheshire and sullivan counties. The work, involving helping people obtain the best information for medicare, medicaid, social security and other social services, is funded through contracts with the state of nh and a number of other agencies acting on behalf of the state of nh. Services are also provided to veterans on a contract that includes federal funds and the veterans administration.
monadnock voices for prevention provides educational and advocacy services in cheshire county to help fight drug and alcohol abuse. State funding, routed through the county of cheshire grants office, is aimed at creating a county-wide coalition of health care, educational, and governmental partners to deal with the drug and alcohol problem in the area.
