Mission: Honolulu waldorf school strives to provide an education that fosters in each child a sense of meaning and purpose in life and the confidence to meet his or her individual destiny.
Programs: Honolulu waldorf school is unlike any other school on o'ahu. It provides a consistent educational philosophy and curriculum to parents of newborns right through to graduating seniors. The philosophy is that education and learning are not about filling a mind with facts and figures but encouraging the flame of creativity and caring that naturally burns within each individual. Hws uses an accredited curriculum that develops the intellectual, practical, and artistic aspects of each student. This experiential learning increases memory and comprehension, creates a deeper understanding of subject matter, and allows students to apply information and observation to real-life situations. In short, it prepares them for the world's increasingly unpredictable and global future. The waldorf / steiner educational movement is the largest independent, non-denominational school system in the world with over 1,000 schools in 60 countries.
