Mockingbird is truly a sanctuary for both animals and humans. The staff and volunteers are extraordinary! They all put so much love into what they do everyday for those animals and it shows in the affection that is returned to them by the animals. The owners are one of a kind and honestly, the most generous and caring people I’ve ever met. I couldn’t think of a better place for these sweet animals to live out the rest of their days. Volunteering at mockingbird always lifts my spirits and I hope keep going back for many years ❤️
I started volunteering at Mockingbird this spring and have loved getting to know everyone... human, furred, and feathered... in the herd. There is so much joy and kindness here, even on the hardest of days. The care everyone at Mockingbird show sanctuary residents and volunteers makes my heart happy and not a day goes by that someone doesn't say thank you in words, moos, coos, brays, and baaas. So, THANK YOU, Mockingbird for creating such a magical place!
