Causes: Technology
Mission: To provide scholarships at missouri engineering schools. To promote the study of engineering through quality programs. To encourage and enhance access to excellent engineering education curriculums and successful engineering careers.
Programs: Math counts - national program providing math coaching and an athletic-style competition for junior high students as an encouragement to take more math classes in high schools and to consider math-oriented classes including engineering. Mspe sponsors the state competition through the education foundation. This program is funded through donations to the foundation.

the kimel program leads the effort of the mspe educational to follow, maintain, and implement the stipulations set out in the william r and mila kimel estate to establish and operate a program using only the interest earnings to implement professional engineering registration of all qualified faculty members who teach or administer engineering programs within the university of missouri system. A secondary goal is to implement professional registration requirements for all persons who work in all industries in the state of missouri who have engineer in their job title.
