Causes: Arts & Culture, Community Celebrations
Mission: As a sec 501(c)(4) exempt organization, the society seeks to promote social welfare by providing funds to designated 501(c)(3) charities. The society engages in the organization and promotion of an annual barbeque cook-off and raffle sale. An enrollment fee is charged to compete, as well as sells raflle tickets and tickets to eat at the bbq. Additonally, the society raises funds through the use of sponsorships of the 2 day event by local organizations.
Programs: Annual bbq competition and family outing is held in mid april. This sole activity of the society is to provide for a contribution to the special learning center, a 501(c)(3) charity.
