Mbhs is the parent company of mississippi baptist medical center (a 638 bed tertiary care hospital complex), baptist medical center-leake (a 25 bed critical access hospital), baptist medical center-yazoo (a 25 bed critical access hospital), baptist medical center-attala (a 25 bed critical access hospital), and the medical foundation of central mississippi, which is a network of primary care and specialty physicians. Through various partnership relationships, mbhs also provides home health care, home medical equipment, and adult day care services. Therefore, in keeping with its commitment to serve all members of its community, baptist medical center-attala provides the following:--free care and/or subsidized care where the need and/or an individual's inability to pay coexist,--care provided to persons covered by governmental programs at below cost, and--health activities and programs to support the communitythese activities include wellness programs, community education programs, and special programs for the elderly, handicapped, medically underserved, and a variety of broad community support activities. Baptist medical center - attala is a 25 bed critical access hospital located in kosciusko, mississippi serving the attala county community and surrounding areas. The hospital offers inpatient, outpatient and 24-hour emergency department services, including 2 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites and a rural health clinic. The hospital is committed to its mission of providing immediate access to quality healthcare. During its 2017 fiscal year, attala recorded 680 inpatient admissions with 3,734 patient days of care provided, 11,884 emergency room visits, 6,403 clinic visits and 750 surgeries.
