Mission Haiti is passionate about its mission and doing wonderful things to empower the people of Haiti. I have seen first hand the impact the organization has had on elder care, education, farming, and the care of malnourished babies and children. It is a life-changing privilege to travel to Haiti with this organization. The Haitian people are resilient and kind and need all of the help we can provide.

I've had the privilege of volunteering with Mission Haiti Inc. (MHI) for over a decade, and it's been an extraordinary journey. MHI is more than just a charity; it's a beacon of hope in Haiti, profoundly impacting various aspects of Haitian life.
My own experience with MHI began with a transformative mission trip to Leogane, Haiti. It wasn't just a week-long trip; it was the start of a lifelong journey of stewardship and service. Seeing MHI's impact firsthand was a pivotal moment in my life.
MHI's partnership with my high school to provide hundreds of laptops was another highlight. This initiative has brought technology into the classroom, opening doors for online education, better job prospects, and global communication for Haitian students.
The people behind MHI are truly its greatest asset. Their dedication, warmth, and genuine care for others are the driving forces that make all these wonderful initiatives possible.
Volunteering with Mission Haiti Inc. has been a life-changing experience. Their work is not just about aid; it's about empowering communities, nurturing hope, and building a sustainable future for Haiti. I wholeheartedly recommend MHI to anyone looking to make a meaningful difference.

I am honored to say that I have been a supporter of Mission Haiti, Inc., since I first learned about them over a decade ago. I have been blessed to travel to Haiti to witness first hand their operations in Haiti and the ways they work within the community to enhance the lives of the children, young adults and elderly women they serve through their programs. They listen with humility to what is needed and compassionately offer support in the ways that they can. I trust the integrity of Mission Haiti, Inc., their board members, and mission whole heartedly.

I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of non-profits, in a variety of settings. Sometimes, I leave such experiences with a sense of powerlessness and defeat... as if what little was accomplished will never sustain itself.. will never mature or blossom into something more. This is the opposite of the feeling I have received while volunteering over the past few years with Mission Haiti, Inc. MH inspires hope in me because it strives not merely to do for others, but to empower others to do for themselves... MH trusts in the unique giftedness of individuals and helps Haitians to use their own strengths, values, and ideas, to create that which is meaningful to them. MH serves others with an admirable sense of humility, generosity, and compassion. I feel truly blessed to know and work with these people and this organization.

Mission Haiti Inc. is a wonderful organization. It provides much needed financial assistance to the dedicated Catholic Sisters who sacrifice so much to educate Haiti’s boys and girls. In a nation gripped by poverty, violence, and instability, hope springs eternal as long as faith-filled people are willing to do whatever they can to educate the young.

I learned about Mission Haiti more than 10 years ago at an Mission possible event. Since learning about Mission Haiti and their mission, I have stayed with the Missionary of Charity’s sisters in Haiti(twice). We took care of very sick babies and children in the hospital. We visited a school and home for the elderly that Mission Haiti supports. We visited a farm run by the sisters. We were able to walk through Port au Prince and met the owner of a company that recycles drinking water bags and makes them into useful re-usable bags. I now help to bring Peacecycle products to Minnesota and donate to Mission Haiti regularly. I (and my family ) are so grateful for Mission Haiti for bringing awareness to Haiti and for offering a concrete way to help organizations in Haiti. God Bless Mission Haiti!

I am one of the original co- founders of this extraordinarily organization which began back in 2005 when I traveled to Haiti to meet with the Sisters of the Companions of Jesus to begin our partnership. Over the years we have supported education of children from 1st grade all the way through the University of Notre Dame, helped the Sisters establish a successful farm & trade school and supported their mission through our financial support. We love Haiti and the dear people who we serve.

My husband and I are co-founders of Mission Haiti Inc. and have been traveling to Haiti since 2005. Our mission began in 2006 and has always focused on education, farming and caring for elderly women. We provide funding each month to help run these operations and also provide scholarships for our students in our primary and secondary, college and a trade school. The mission is run by the Sisters of the Companion of Jesus who diligently operate these ministries through hurricanes, earthquakes, civil unrest & violence. We have always taken groups down to witness our ministry first hand. We think we are top-rated and hope that you also will rank us among the BEST!

Mission Haiti has made a difference in the lives of Haitians, but also the lives of people who have had the opportunity to volunteer for the organization.

My children learned to think beyond themselves when they put their pennies in the Mission Haiti penny banks, and when friends returned from Haiti and shared their stories. Starting at a young age, Mission Haiti has taught literally hundreds of Minneapolis kids, to see the world as bigger than just our city.

I was first introduced to Mission Haiti when a friend of mine took a mission trip to Haiti. One year later, I was fortunate enough to travel with the president of Mission Haiti himself and other volunteers to educate ourselves with the challenges that Haiti faces and better understand how impactful this organization truly is. It was an incredible opportunity to learn and see how Mission Haiti is making a difference.

We took trips to 3 of the schools that MH supports, where we spent time playing with the kids, shadowing their classes, and understanding where they need more resources and how MH can provide solutions. There is so much promise and hope with these kids and I was surrounded by so many beautiful smiles the entire time. We took a trip to Bethleen farm, where I learned just how impactful and necessary a sustainable farm can be. I take for granted how easy it is for me to get food at a grocery store, even just getting clean water, and I was blown away seeing how well they utilize this farm to provide for the Haitians in the community. We also had the chance to stop by the Elder home. It was so much fun to give the residents their very own “spa day” - doing their nails, massaging their hands and feet, and trying to provide a little entertainment with some dance and song.

It is such a beautiful country and I can’t wait to have the opportunity to make this trip again soon. Until then, I am so happy to know that Mission Haiti will continue their work by applying our donations directly to these resources they have within the country.

We love to volunteer for Mission Haiti. I have volunteered in a few different capacities but my favorite is The Eli Project. My daughter and I look forward to this opportunity that occurs several times a year to create diapers from donated tee shirts . The benefits are many; upcylcing tee shirts, spending time with others in our community, bonding time with my daughter, learning to sew and providing much needed diapers to the babies in Haiti. When I joined the Church of Annunciation In Minneapolis in 1996, A parishioner, Phyllis Sheehan, told us about Annunciation School in Leogane, Haiti that she and her husband had started and wanted our support. From that effort, Mission Haiti Inc. was born and I have been supportive ever since.

I went with Mission Haiti Inc. to see the Annunciation school, The village of Jesus and the Bethleem Farm and to volunteer at Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity Wellness Center.
Through these trips, we witnessed first hand the results of this nonprofit's efforts. They are remarkable.

I have been involved in many of the efforts in Minneapolis to support this nonprofit. I have participated in a project to create diapers out of T shirts for Mother Teresa's Wellness center called the Eli project. I have attended many fund raising events this group sponsors. The love for the Haitian children and people is so evident. This nonprofit is always thinking of new events to motivate people of all ages to get involved. The many volunteers and donors associated with this group participate because of this nonprofit's board members' passion.

Mission Haiti has been a part of my life for a long time. Growing up the school I went to had a strong involvement with Mission Haiti and was constantly raising money for our sister school, and others we helped to support. A couple years ago I finally took the next step and traveled down to Haiti myself. To see the school system first hand was great and to interact with the children and the adults running the school was even better. Haiti is full of loving and giving people, it’s a blessing to be able to feel that love in person. My son and I had the opportunity to go on a Mission trip through Mission Haiti June 2016. It was a life changing event for both of us. Mission Haiti takes care of infants, toddlers and children whom are ill until they are healthy enough to go back home. They build schools, educate children and continue to educate children while they grow into young adults going into college with the anticipation of giving back to the community as an adult. Mission Haiti also takes care of elderly adults. We witnessed the sisters taking care of the people of Haiti from birth to the very elderly with respect, dignity and love.

I went on the Mission Haiti Trip in June of 2018. I was blown away by the kindness and generosity of the Sisters, and of their competence in such poverty. They use every resource, including us volunteers. The babies touched my heart in so many ways. I want to return. This trip far exceeded my expectations for spiritual growth and retrospection.

I attended a week long mission trip to Haiti in March 2018, coordinated by Mission Haiti, Inc.
As a group we were able to focus on fulfilling the objectives of the trip because all the logistics involving travel, lodging and security within the country were handled professionally and efficiently by Mission Haiti, Inc.

I would recommend Mission Haiti, Inc to anyone considering a similar trip to this beautiful country.

I was blessed to be a member of the March 2018 Mission Haiti trip, sponsored by Mission Haiti Inc. This was an excellent trip...so well planned and executed with great feeling, sensitivity and with a wealth of exposure to so many aspects of the country. Our van driver was wonderful and could trans;ate fluently, as did our guides. We toured to see a number of schools, 2 hospitals, a trade school, a recycling project and orphanage. The experience was life-changing in every way. The trip included time for the members to both witness and be involved in various activities, as well as time to pray and to process what we had seen.
The country will bring you tears, but also bring hopes as your heart and mind are drawn to be "part of the solution" in waking with these folks towards a better day for Haiti.
I was privileged to be a member of this immersion trip.

I have been involved with Mission Haiti for several years now and have seen the great work they do with the people of Haiti. Since they work with local Haitians directly who are responsible for the distribution of the money that is raised they are able to bypass the corruption that can often hamper relief efforts in Haiti. The money that is raised directly affects the local people by supplying a farm that grows food for the locals, several schools to teach the children craving an education, scholarships for many children and young adults to attend elementary school, high school, as well as university in Haiti. It's great to be part of an organization that does such a great job directly helping the people in Haiti.

I have been involved with Mission Haiti for a number of years attending their fund raising events and hearing about the mission they have in Haiti. A couple of years ago I went on an immersion trip to Haiti that was arranged by Mission Haiti and had an incredible experience. It was deeply moving to see first hand the situation in Haiti and how the citizens dealt with their conditions. The enterprising nature of the people showed how hard they would work to try to better their situation. The best reason I can share for my support for Mission Haiti is their philosophy of supporting the people in Haiti by allowing them to do the work that supports the mission rather than sending people to Haiti to build things. From what I saw, the people in Haiti are more than capable and certainly willing to do any work that is made available to them. All-in-all my experience with Mission Haiti has been awesome.

I'm incredibly thankful to have been apart of the work Mission Haiti does. Their work with the farm, elementary schools, and their care for babies and the elderly is truly making an impact. I was lucky enough to go on an immersion trip with Mission Haiti in the January of 2017, and the experience was life-changing. Witnessing firsthand the devastating conditions the people of Haiti live in was at times very hard to see, but being able to see the work Mission Haiti is doing to help the Haitians gave me hope. The people of Haiti need our help, and Mission Haiti is a great organization continuously leaving a positive impact there.

Going on the Mission Haiti trip was absolutely amazing. In Haiti we stayed with the Missionaries of Charity and helped out with the babies and children living there. It was humbling to meet some of the strong inspiring caring sisters that work so hard to better the lives of others. On this trip you will definitely see poverty and everything that comes with it but you will also see the joy, optimism, and resilience of the Haitian people. Most days we were with the sisters in their compound taking care of sick children, but we also did a trip where we traveled to the sister's farm and got to see the schools that Mission Haiti supports. This trip was filled with memories that I will never forget and I am so glad I had the opportunity to go.

Four of my five family members have been to Haiti with Mission Haiti. I have been there once, my wife and daughter have been there twice and my son has been there three times.

My experience gave me a greater understanding of my place in the world. So many of the things we daily take for granted are simply not available to the people of Haiti. And yet they go on. Children go to school and play, adults work, care for their children and gather with friends and neighbors, just as we do. They appear to be happy and I have seen them be generous and yet by our standards they have next to nothing. We have much we can and should share with them. They remind me that it's not things that matter.

The experiences my wife and children have had are also very memorable for me. All three of them returned from Haiti each time as different people than they were before they went. In sharing their experiences they got to re-live them. It was pure joy for me to see my wife so excited to tell me what she saw and did. And as a parent there is nothing more rewarding than seeing your children grow in their knowledge and understanding of the world, their place in it and what their responsibilities are.

Mission Haiti is doing wonderful things in Haiti by supporting two schools, the sisters who teach there, a farm where the sisters live, and a home for abandoned women. It is also doing a great service here in the US, to those of us who have been lucky enough to travel to Haiti by enlightening us both mentally and spiritually.

I would recommend traveling with Mission Haiti to anyone who would like to broaden your horizons and expand your knowledge of your social and spiritual place in the world.

Our family experience with Mission Haiti Inc. was excellent! I had the opportunity of taking three of my teenage daughters to Haiti through the Mission Haiti Inc last March. From the moment we decided to go, everything was very well organized and cohesive. This was our first mission experience and the concern and care given was enough to eliminate many of my fears. From the moment we departed from Miami to the time we returned, every detail was taken care of. Everything from lodging to meals and safe transportation was provided. Traveling with Mission Haiti Inc. ensured a safe experience with minimal stress for my daughters and I.

On my mission trip to Haiti in the summer of 2016, I witnessed first-hand the hardships that people in third world countries face on a daily basis. I worked with young children at a wellness center, grown adults at a street clinic, and senior citizens in a nursing home. Each new place I went I had a new eye-opening experience. From everything that happened on that trip, all the poverty and depression within the country, the thing that I took away most was hope. I found hope in the future through every smiling face that I encountered. I believe that there is a lot of good to be done in this world, and I can contribute to that good in a major way when I grow up. Mission Haiti has had an incredible influence on my life and I am eternally grateful for the opportunities that the program has given me time and time again.

Mission Haiti Inc is a wonderful organization dedicated to lifting Haitians up through education, farming, and self empowerment. They support several schools in and around the community of Leogane, Haiti. They believe that the most successful method to improve the conditions of Haiti is by educating it's children so that they may build a nation that is self sustaining in the future. This organization also supports a home for abandoned women. And a farm that supplies food to the schools and home. I have had the great fortune to travel to Haiti to see this work first hand. The beautiful smiling faces of the children and the women in the home was a blesssing to witness! I am another quintessential white privileged American wanting to “give back” to the world. I am also one of those lame volunteer tourists who say that working in Haiti was “life changing”. However- all that is completely true for me.
It was a radical experience unlike nothing else. I thought my previous life experiences would have prepared me for Haiti. They did not.
The things I saw and lived were nearly unbelievable. I don’t think you can fully appreciate Haiti until you have been there.

That said, I believe that Mission Haiti is an excellent charitable organization. They have been committed to the people of Leogane since the ‘90’s. The have minimal overhead and organizational fees- I cannot quite you exact numbers, but I have seen first hand the running of the organization and promise that it is not rife with corruption.
I was able to meet the nuns who actually run the school/gardens/home for women, and come to understand their mission and compassion. I was able to visualize projects completed and those Stil in The works. We were able to see first hand the damage still apparent from the earthquake in 2010. And come to understand a people continually betrayed by a corrupt and no effectual government.

The value of Mission Haiti is immeasurable, especially to the lives it impacts in Leagane. It is a most worthy and trusted organization.

Mission Haiti has provided me and my children not once, but twice, an amazingly intimate and personalized experience. We enjoyed understanding the depth and breadth of the issues, how we can help more back here on the mainland, and where our energy and money will be most effective for the Haitians and their community. From a logistical standpoint, the planning was fantastic, the lodging was comfortable, the food was good, and the travel itself was just fine. The cost was appropriate, the activities and dedicated time spent with various groups of people was enjoyable, and overall, it was a great value. The group leaders were great and the groups themselves were fantastic. I would do this over and over! Thankyou!

I am lucky enough to say I experienced what an incredible nonprofit Mission Haiti Inc is and witnessed what outstanding work that is being done by this group. I travelled with the president Jimmy Dunn, a few board members, and a couple other volunteers who wanted to see what was truly being done in Haiti by our nonprofit. I got to play and talk with kids from three different schools that Mission Haiti donates to and learn more about what they learn in school and how much they enjoy it. I was able to see and learn what more can be done for these kids, and being a college student myself, I was able to see what ideas that Mission Haiti has that can help the kids develop. We were able to see what the farm system project that we are funding looks like, and what improvements are needed to make this a better functioning and useful tool for the Haitians. The president showed us how much improvement has already been made so far and I really could not imagine what they would have to do for food without the improvements that Mission Haiti has funded and helped build. The last big project that I was fortunate enough to experience was the elderly homes that Mission Haiti strives to make as comfortable and helpful as possible. We spent a day giving the elderly women a "spa day" by massaging them, motioning their dry hands and feet, and painting their finger nails. I was able to learn first-hand how important it is to take care of these women who otherwise would be alone and dying on the streets, whereas they are given a much better life here at the home that Mission Haiti supports. Overall, seeing all that Mission Haiti Inc does and pushes to do in the future makes me realize that this is a nonprofit that I want to be involved with for the rest of my life.

The trips it organizes, in addition to the stories and passion it brings back to Minnesota has ignited a community to truly give itself to this cause. The relationship this organization allows its volunteers to forge with the Haitians they encounter makes the connections to it even stronger and because of this it is allowing multiple generations to be involved in a worthy cause.

Mission Haiti Inc. is changing lives--from kindergarten kids to university students, elderly women, a farming community, and the Americans touched by the Haitians we serve. Mission Haiti Inc. proves that a little, by American standards, can go a long way in Haiti to help Haitians help Haitians. How do I know? I've seen it first-hand. I have volunteered for this organization since 2007 and have made three trips in the past three years to visit our partners and projects in Haiti as a board member. We are an all-volunteer organization--0% of donations goes to paying American staff or renting offices in Minneapolis. We rely on in-kind donations as well as monetary donations to get the job done. But we also rely on our great supporters spreading the word of our life-giving work. Thank you!

My favorite thing about Mission Haiti is that those in leadership positions make very careful decisions regarding funding and other services to give as much benefit as possible to those who need it. They also showed us that you don't have to be rich or powerful to make a difference; anyone can do something as long as it's done with great love!

Mission Haiti doesn't filter money -- it goes directly to Haitians in need for medical services, training, education, farming, schools, and elder care. The board members I know are exceptionally caring people and highly dedicated to the organizational goals. This is a truly exceptional organization.

Visiting Haiti with Mission Haiti, Inc. was something I've wanted to do for some time now. When the opportunity arose to go I grabbed that chance and went in June. Every moment was valuable from the people I traveled with, the babies we cared for, the elderly women that we met, our time spent with the students of Annunciation and exploring the farm. Mission Haiti, Inc. is striving for sustainability and dignity for the people of Haiti.

I visited Haiti with MHI last year. It was an amazing experience to see the love and compassion of the director and those who support this organization. They are doing things not just to benefit the people there "today" but also in to the future. They support the schools with quality education and are now providing college scholarships. That is the only way things will change is to give hope to the children. Caring for the elderly and supporting agriculture is also a part of this organization. All of it is done with a devotion to the people of Haiti.

My wife and I and our 5 children have been active with Mission Haiti for about 3 years. We have all traveled to Haiti on humanitarian missions several times. Working to care for sick children and spending time with the elderly "ladies". Singing, dancing and loving every minute of it. Mission Haiti has an amazing spirit and is on the ground, making a difference in the lives of the sick and poor. MHI is also working to educate young Haitians to build a vital and renewable human resource to help sustain continuous development and improvements for all Haitians. The MHI board and volunteers have dedicated themselves with energy, hard work, love and compassion. I would highly recommend MHI to everyone who wants to make the world a better place!

Mission Haiti in action was a beautiful thing to behold. So many hungry, ill children being held and fed. So many plants being put into the ground to supply food. Comfort and shelter to elderly women. The tireless work of the Sisters. An amazing experience I am so grateful to have been part of.

I started as a rather distant observer and slowly but surely became familiar and then more actively involved in Mission Haiti Inc. From there things just continued on an unplanned path. My daughter and I took our first trip to Haiti in January 2014 and fell head over heels in love with both the country and the people. Mission Haiti is small enough to feel like an extended family and allow anyone who wants to to roll up your sleeves and make a difference and large enough to truly collaborate with the Hatian people in a promising partnership on a global level.

Mission Haiti and the people of Haiti have captured by heart. Our time in Haiti was spent in Leogane and Port-au-Prince. One can read a lot of reports about the good works of a lot of people there, but nothing substitutes for walking the streets, being with the children, ministering to the elderly women, experiencing the great beauty as well as the dire poverty. The people of Haiti live the reality of all of this with such hope. Mission Haiti makes it possible for this experience with such care and support.

My first visit to Haiti was in 2011. Mission Haiti was the best group that I could have gone with for an unforgettable experience. Mission Haiti has established wonderful contacts both for the incredible work that it does as well as for introducing new people to the reality of Haiti. The Farm is a success story beyond words with potential for further growth. Annunciation School and the Village speak of the dedication of many people to support the children, families, and women of Leogane. The visit provided the background and impetus for the Federation of the Sisters of St. Joseph in the US and Canada to also become involved in the ongoing work of MH. It is a gift to be associated with the group. During our visit we visited a number of initiatives in Leogane and Port-au-Prince that opened my eyes to the resilience and dedication of the Haitian people in the face of insurmountable odds.

Mission Haiti works efficiently, and with very little overhead, and they inform their choices by much hands-on experience on site. They facilitate many volutneer trips to Haiti where not only are contributions used wisely, but also relationships are forged and sustained. The travellers to Haiti go on to engage more people with the good work of Mission Haiti, providing education and perspective to all the donors and potential donors.

The board of Mission Haiti willingly share their expertise and time with us so that together we can make a difference in Haiti. I have visited the Village of Jesus and am so impressed by the love and care that surround these elderly Haitian women who would otherwise be abandoned and forgotten.

I recently traveled to Haiti in June. As a member of the board for MHI, I am truly blessed to be involved with this organization. Leogane, Haiti has become my home away from home. The children at both the primary and secondary school, ladies at the Village of Jesus, the Sister of the Companion of Jesus, and all those living at Bethleem Farm have touched my heart and impacted my life beyond words. I am sincerely grateful for our donors/partners and all they have done in impacting the lives of those whom we serve. Working hand in hand with those in Haiti, we are making a difference. I am fortunate to be able to travel to Haiti and witness this first hand. We have made a lot of progress over the past year due to our partners and donors. The dormitories in the Village are near completion. It has taken years to rebuild from the earthquake. The women in the Village of Jesus are receiving good health care, daily visits from a nurse and monthly visits from a doctor. Children have the opportunity to attend school, receive a daily meal and teachers are continuing in their education to reach a higher level of certification. MHI is sincerely grateful to all those who sponsor a student. Bethleem Farm has just received a tractor and visions of a plentiful harvest are in the future. We are a dedicated group of volunteers that works hands on in Haiti. The Sisters guide us in our steps to help provide what is the best for their community. Thank you once again to all those who support us in our mission, and for all those who pray for us.- Anita

My first trip to Haiti was in 2006. Upon returning, I knew that my heart belonged to Haiti and to all those that I had met. I was truly blessed when I met the staff and children at Annunciation School, the beautiful women that live at the Village of Jesus, and those I met at Bethleem farm. These people are now my family and I am welcomed "home" each time I return. My relationship with all of them has enriched my life. We walk together in our struggles, we celebrate progress, our accomplishments, and embrace our blessings with gratitude. We laugh, cry, and pray as one. It is truly an honor to serve on the board of Mission Haiti Inc. (MHI) and have the opportunity to work side by side with the Haitians whom we serve. I have seen many non-profits in Haiti begin projects and then leave. Mission Haiti supports education, elder care, and sustainable farming in Leogane, Haiti. We are committed to our projects and look forward to the future with hope. MHI is making a difference in the lives of those whom we serve. - Anita

I have been involved with Mission Haiti for a number of years and visited there in January, 2009 as part of the mission group. I have always been very impressed with the Mission Haiti board and all they are able to do for the development of this country just from the U.S. Visiting as part of a mission trip was even more enlightning. To see the love of the members for the Haitians whether the nuns doing incredible work, the children at the schools in the small towns and villages, the babies at the orphanges or the senior citizens in need of attention and help was incredible as was the way the love was returned to our group. No matter where we went everyone was very happy to greet us and accept our help and assistance. Despite the language differences in most areas, things were done in a very efficient and even exciting manner. I know that Mission Haiti, with their dedicated people and the plans they have for further aid and development of the schools and agriculture etc. will continue to be very successful in the growth and success of the people of Haiti.

My involvement with Mission Haiti, Inc. has been as a Director of the Congregation of St. Joseph Generous Promise Grant Fund. We, Sisters of St. Joseph have funded this extraordinary group for the past 3 years. I had the wonderful opportunity this year to be on site and experience the great work that is being accomplished by MH, empowering the Haitians themselves to making system changes especially in the area of education. The children were so full of life, so happy, and so wanted to be in these schools both elementary and secondary. MH is giving them the opportunity for learning by providing for good teachers and a stable environment run by the Haitian Sisters, the Companions of Jesus.

Over the past couple of years I've been blessed to work with this wonderful organization. I have had the opportunity to personally witness the sustainable and life-giving work that they do in Haiti. Their programs help educate, employ, and care for the people of Haiti in a manner that is sustainable and dignified. Their support goes beyond the physical needs to the spiritual. This is evident when you look upon the faces of the people they help care for, all the while doing their work with great courage, humbleness, and joy. Working with Mission Haiti has given me great hope!

I live in Haiti and work with another organization in Leogane. I have worked on projects right next to MH in Leogane. I have been witnessing the good work there and am proud to have had a part by being a donor. The work is down to earth and worth it. I actually looked for this organization for some time--just didn't have the name or contact info. When I finally found out where they were I couldn't believe it--really close to where I live. They are not austentatious and from my conversations with folks who are a part of this I know that this organization is out to serve. One of the pioneers of this organization once gave me a small card which I had pinned to the cork board beside my desk. It read "You haven't lived today unless you have done something for someone who can never repay you. " I have worked in this community for more than a year and know how needy the people are. There is about 80-85% unemployment here. Many of the homes were destroyed by the earthquake. I have been helping with overseas projects on site for the last 26 years. In Latin America and the Carribean and the work in this rea is very challenging but very fulfilling, too. MH is one of the good ones!

MISSION HAITI INC helps one appreciate the importance of the simple things in life and helps one appreciate how the goodness and kindness of a few, can truly change the lives of many. The personal testimonies at gatherings of volunteers to this organization have been inspirational. All generations of our church have been involved in helping provide supplies and in fund raising for MISSION HAITI. Truly, an organization that will continue to be a part of our school and church community.

I feel blessed to personally know the people who are dedicating their lives for the purpose of empowering people in Haiti, namely the non-profit organization Mission Haiti, Inc. I traveled to Haiti with Mission Haiti, Inc. and witnessed first hand the incredible relationship that has transpired through the years between the people of Leogane, and this non-profit group of compassionate, dedicated, loving people. I'll never forget how the group was received by the children of Annunciation School in Leogane, with outstretched arms and cheers of welcome. The amazing education these children are receiving is allowing them to climb out of the culture of poverty they live with daily and is enhancing their development as they grow into the hope for Haiti's future. Mission Haiti, Inc. is responsible for this empowerment and so much more. God speed to all those involved.

Mission Haiti, Inc has a model that promotes social justice. I was so impressed by this organization as I traveled to Haiti and watched as they supported the Haitians working day in and day out to make it a better country. They raise money and then give it to empower the Haitians who run the school farm, and home for elderly. People are living dignified lives because of Mission Haiti, Inc.
