Mission: The purpose of missio international is to collaborate with god in his love for romania and her people in order to spread the gospel through social and spiritual ministry programs. To this end our principal (though not exclusive) ministry partners are missio link international foundation , and veritas, both romanian ngo's, with whom we develop servant-hood relationships in the united states, assist with financial support, provide organizational insight, leadership, planning, strategy expertise, administrative and financial accountability, and prayer support.
Programs: Missio link international social ministries/children at risk ministries: deborah house center - homes for girls rescued from trafficking and abuse aspirations - transition program for older girls from deborah house to independent adult living back to school- trafficking, child labor abuse program to keep marginalized (mostly gypsy) children in school harmony - evangelical music and bible study program in a juvenile prison see schedule o for continuation moms' school - works in tandem with back to school program, providing lessons in social and parenting skills for mothers of at-risk children national christian mentoring program - gateway to a new life upon the juvenile's release from prison, providing a mentor for ongoing discipleship and encouragement and a guide to necessary job skills and ultimate employment pastor/missionary support: program support for 28 planted rural village churches in romania, 30 pastors and missionaries national pastors' conference - retreat and training conference for village pastors and their wives leadership development - evangelical lay-leadership training for both men and women alpinis christian conference and camping center: facility serves as base for children, young people camps and the outdoor challenge program also a venue for leadership development program, christian conferences
veritas - family services center - child and teen education programs small kids after school program, 7-13 year olds adolescent after school program, 14-18 year olds special needs program pre-school program, 3-6 year olds elderly program, over 55 domestic violence program
romanian walk to emmaus - program introducing the walk to emmaus to romania. Missio international is working with the upper room in nashville, tennessee, and the north georgia (u. S. ) walk to emmaus community. Walk to emmaus is an event to benefit the development of christian leaders to become the hands and feet of christ.
other programs services - medical: assist with medical expenses in timisoara, romania, and vienna, austria, for pastor eugen groza. Pastor groza is the founder and president of missio link international in romania. He has been receiving treatment for cancerous tumors in his liver and extensive treatments for hepatitis c. Subsequent to year end, pastor groza passed away.
