This organization goes above and beyond to help meet the needs of people in Southern, Wv. They push themselves to make sure that people do not go hungry, without clothing, and other needs they may have. Southern Wv has been in an economic disaster for many years now and people just need help to get by. Over the last few months I have kept up with them through Facebook where the pictures tell the story of the struggles that these people go through to see that families are fed. I have watched as clients wait patiently in line, greeted with a hug and served. I want to thank the volunteers and crew that make this happen each month. Without you many would go hungry .

Miracle Island Unlimited Food and Clothing Pantry server most of Southern WV. I volunteer there when possible. They are a 501(c)3 charitable organization that operates solely on donations and volunteers. Last month alone they served over 3000 people. Thiis is through extreme hardships. Check out Facebook Pricella Cline Smith for more information or call 304-583-2825'ane Elkins I have told you her story, in part. Now, let me tell you my story: Without this Food Pantry, my family would go hungry a lot of the time. Work in Southern WV is down, my husband and I am disabled and live on a small fixed income less than 1700 a month, and have one child in the home. Many months it is either buy food or buy medicine, my husband is a heart patient and the meds have to come first. She has never turned me away. I could call her now and tell her I need something and she would do her best to move heaven and earth to see that I had it. I am not the only one she feeds in this situation. As the economy in WV grows worse, the pantry is feeding more and more. Please consider her and the pantry.
