Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: Provide scholarship support to individuals to pursue post-secondary educations. Scholarships are awarded to students selected from the service areas of the association's members.
Programs: During the current year, the foundation's scholarship program awarded six scholarships for the 2016-2017 academic year. Recipients of the scholarships are high school students selected from the services areas of the association's members. Selection criteria includes completion of an application, academic information, an essay written by each applicant, and appraisals by two officials from an applicant's school. The appraisal addresses character, personality, skills and other relevant information concerning the applicant.
