Mission: Provide drug abuse resistance education.
Programs: Minnesota d. A. R. E. , inc. (dare) provides drug abuse resistance education to students throughout the state of minnesota. In 2014, dare obtained funding for and distributed over 75,000 workbooks to students. Dare works with various communities throughout the state of minnesota to obtain funding for continuation of the program and to establish or re-establish the program in schools. Minnesota dare coordinates various fundraising events, assists with the dare officer training, assists to develop ancillary programs and maintains statistics on the participation in the dare program for the state of mn. Dare also works to build coalitions to support the dare program. The organization created blogs to increase its messaging through social media. The organization also provided speakers and food to one or our "partners" the dare officers association.
