I’m doing volunteer work at MAII in the summer/fall of 2017, and it has been a wonderful experience. The guys over there are extremely nice and helpful. Reverend Lucien, Wladimir, and other folks were very helpful and the knowledge that I got volunteering here will be instrumental in my getting a job. I gained knowledge and improved my time management during the time I stayed here. The organization is true to it”s goals of helping underprivileged children in Haiti obtain education. The office is well organized and the fellow volunteers are very helpful. I recommend to volunteer at this organization to learn people skills and be helpful to needy. I would recommend any one I know to volunteer if they have time. If I ever get an opportunity again,

I have been Volunteering with MAII since January 2017 and it has been a great experience. The team is fantastic. Reverend Lucien truly cares about each individual volunteer and also about helping the local communities and also the families in Haiti. Wladimir, who heads up the Grant Writing Team has the patience of a saint. He is extremely kind and patient with each team member and great with training.

My job is to research grants about the organization so they can continue giving back to the community. This organization's mission is to help unfortunate and save other lives , and make difference to their lives. I have joined Maii in September as a Volunteer for helping in web development project. All the staff over there are very helpful and caring. I have learned a lot from them. I have learned how to keep goals for myself when you are working on projects which impact on the children they serve. It was very helpful later in my life for doing some useful work.

Volunteering with the MAII has been a pleasure. Their work is very direct and immediate, and even as an administrative assistant sticking to the smaller things in the office, I have always felt like I've been working with a nonprofit that actually makes a difference. The office environment has always been immensely warm and welcoming; from my first day here, I was treated like family, and the organization's leaders have been supportive and helpful in every possible way, in and out of work. On a professional level, everyone's been incredibly flexible with regards to scheduling and tasking. I sought out the MAII as a chance to earn professional experience in an office environment, and I'm glad I ended up here working with the people I do.

I have volunteered for MAII for the past three years. During this time, I have found the organization wonderful. We have helped a number of children attend school in Haiti that would not have the opportunity to have an education without the help and support from MAII.

I did my volunteer work at MAII in summer of 2011 for 2 months, and it was definitely a summer well spent.
The guys over there are extremely nice. Reverend Lucien, Wladimir, Milendolph and other guys (sorry can't remember all the names) were very helpful.
The knowledge that I got volunteering over here has been very instrumental on my pursuit for undergraduate degree. I got the drive that I needed from here. For me it was true life changing experience.
About the organization itself, they really do do the work of helping others. They are very true to what they say in the official website. I guess some other organizations are in it for wrong reasons, but not with MAII. I have full trust in them. I would recommend any one I know to volunteer if they have time. If I ever get an opportunity again, I would definitely spend some time with this awesome organizaton.

I volunteered with Ministries of Aides International for over a year. From the very first day that I joined the organization, I felt right at home. I was encouraged to share my ideas, provide feedback, and overall felt that my voice was valued.

Working with both the leadership and other volunteers was a great learning experience. I got to be involved in many different types of work. While I participated in some typical office tasks, I was also challenged to take on more complex projects. In general, I think that volunteers are given many opportunities to learn new things and be empowered themselves. Volunteering at the Ministries is also a great cultural experience. I got to meet and work with other volunteers from different parts of the world in a diverse and enjoyable team environment.

Another thing that impressed me is the commitment of the leadership team to the people that the organization serves. For them, it doesn't seem to be just a job. They really have a passion for what they're doing and give a lot of themselves, above and beyond what I think could be expected of them.

I had volunteer at this organization since 2006 and it has been quite a learning experience. The work they do truly impact the lives of unfortunate children. I had the opportunity to travel to the orphanages and the schools in Haiti and I say they are doing legitimate work. The funds goes out to help the children as they mentioned.

MAII has an incredible commitment to serve the neediest children in Haiti. I came to MAII to complete my graduate practicum as a grant/fund seeker. MAII guided and taught me how to find funds and write grants. After completing my practicum, I have decided to stay and volunteer because I enjoyed it so much. Everyone is very helpful and always checks up on one another. The place is very professional, but at the same time, is like a family.

As a grad student, I am loaded with work. MAII understands that and works with me to fit into my schedule. If anyone would like to volunteer, and have a heart to share, I recommend joining MAII! When you are there, you will understand how important you are and how much the children depend on you. There are many different opportunities for people of all ages.
