Mission: To promote the availability of high quality medical care to the residents of mineral county and western montana.
Programs: Mineral regional health center (mrhc) provides medical services to the community. Patients are served on a sliding scale based on their family size and income. Mrhc had 6,165 encounters during the year. Mrhc provides care to persons covered by governmental programs at below cost and to individuals who are unable to pay. The health center has numerous individuals accessing sliding fee discounts for services rendered. A total of 57 individuals had access to the sliding fee program who may have otherwise not received such services due to financial barriers.
mineral regional health center(mrhc) is utlizing the innovations grant to create a new service delivery model and design corresponding payment models that show promise of providing better health, better healthcare, and lower costs through improved quality for medicare, medicaid, and children's health insurance program (chip) enrollees. Mrhc served 25 critical access hospitals within the state of montana during fiscal year 2013.
