After being involved in the horse community for many years I’ve been truly inspired and impressed with the work that the Military Equestrian Foundation does. I had the pleasure seeing this organization grow from a local club to what it is today, a welcoming community sharing a passion for horses, camaraderie, and fellowship amongst the veteran community.
It’s an amazing experience for everyone from those with little to no horse knowledge to those with years of experience! No detail goes overlooked and every horse is given special attention, care and individual needs. The community and team of volunteers is a pleasure to work with and everyone involved clearly cares about not only the safety of these animals but their happiness as well!
The Military Equestrian foundation is a fantastic organization and really follows its mission statement. This organization provides Veterans, Active-Duty Military, and their families/significant others the opportunity to build a relationship with horses. So many veterans and their families benefit from participating in various events and programs. I am so glad to be part of this group and I cannot say enough good things about it; if you have an opportunity to attend events and outings, I highly recommend it!
