Mission: Mile bluff medical center, as a community health resource center, will serve in a leadership capacity to facilitate the delivery of health care and medical services, including care for the elderly and home care to the residents of and visitors to juneau county and surrounding counties. As part of this mission, the mile bluff medical center intends to facilitate confidential delivery of quality health care in a professional and timely manner by maintaining dedicated, compassionate and well trained medical staff and employees; progressive, professional management; and modern equipment and facilities consistent with fiscally sound business practices.
Programs: Mile bluff medical center leads delivery of healthcare to its region through over 700 associates which coordinate care to deliver patient care as an integrated unit. Mile bluff medical center and its affiliates also work seamlessly to meet the needs of the communities they serve. In fiscal year 2017 the medical center had 9,030 er visits and 3,584 in-patient days. Mile bluff medical center also makes medical care accessible to the entire community it serves. Mile bluff medical center operates a full-time emergency room and provides emergency care regardless of ability to pay. Mile bluff medical center provides clinical services needed to operate the emergency room and provides on-site emergency medical care and medical transportation services through an area ambulance service, and an onsite helipad. The medical center maintains records to identify and monitor the level of charity care it provides. These records include the amount of charges foregone for services and supplies furnished under the medical center's charity care policy. The amount of charges foregone for the year ended september 30, 2017 was $2,610,847. The estimated costs of the charges foregone, based upon an overall cost-to-charge ratio calculation for the years ended september 30, 2017, was approximately $1,108,000.

In addition to the full-service pharmacy, the store also offers home medical equipment and supplies, over-the-counter medications, digital photo processing, health and wellness screenings, immunizations, cards, gifts and a coffee bar. The convenience of drive-through prescription pick-up is also available. Phillips prescription dispensing services are available in mile bluff's mauston, necedah, and elroy locations. With an order from a provider, many prescriptions can be filled on-site or delivered at a later time for a more convenient pick-up option for patients.
