This group provided me a life line and platform from which to jump off of in my journey to become a better mother, wife and woman.

There are many different ways you can get what you need for yourself. I was able to have affordable childcare when I had 3 young children to get some "me" time with other moms in their discussion groups. That was my life line. I didn't know how much I needed it until I got it!

Then I was given the opportunities to help on committees, chair committees and feel useful and have purpose beyond cleaning my house, making meals and keeping my husband and children happy. I learned amazing group dynamic skills as a trained facilitator, I was able to take leadership roles and grow as a person.

I can't say enough good things about this group, but I know that they've gotten much smaller in the past few years with so many people going back to work and finding their social outlets online. I hope that you take the time to check them out!
