Causes: Human Services, Transportation Assistance
Mission: To provide pre-hospital emergency medical care and emergency transportation to local hospitals for persons who are seriously injured or become seriously ill anywhere within our service area. To provide standby medical services at structure fires and community/civic events as requested by their organizers. To provide mutual aid to neighboring ambulance organizations.
Programs: Respond to calls in 3 fire districts and mutual aid to surrounding ems agencies as requested, provide basic life support 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Provide advanced life support 5 days a week, 10 hours a day. Answer +/- 300 calls per year. Respond to standby requests from schools and law enforcement.
maintain a base of operations for medical staff, training classes, staff office and to house two fully equipped ambulances. The building also has an emergency generator to function as a shelter community and staff in the event of a disaster.
