Mission: The Mid-Delta Workforce Alliance identifies and mobilizes workforce development resourcesto form effective collaborative partnerships that increase access to economic opportunity. We work (1) to ensure that those individuals currently employed have access to information, education and training that adequately prepares them for their current employment and any future employment which they may seek, (2) to encourage the investment of human/financial resources in area schools and to build partnerships between employers and schools that encourage young people to remain and work in our community after completing their education, and (3) to increase access to information, training, employment opportunities and other support for those separated from the workforce, facilitate the reintegration of unemployed individuals into employment situations, and develop resources that assist in this transition.
