Programs: In this reporting period, mcfeg implemented projects that improved 5 miles of streams. The group installed more than 7,200 native plants on seven projects; restored fish passage to 47 miles of spawning habitat through removal of 37 illegal play dams; relocated 51 beavers to restore watershed function; restored passage to nearly a mile of river by replacing an undersized culvert with a bridge; monitored 38 miles of streams for habitat and spawning; coordinated more than 3,000 hours of volunteer work; and educated 1,900 students through 102 field trips and classroom visits, 960 river users, and 1,590 community members.
