This charter school is part of the Miami Community Charter Schools that provide educational opportunities to the parents of Homestead and Florida City. The middle school was created to service the existing elementary school in 2007. Since then the middle school has had a waiting list for seats by those wanting to attend. 90% of the High School graduates of 2014 (that the middle school services) went on to college.
