Mission: Throughout year 2013. we fought against crime and animal abuse in Serbia, we filed more than 40 complaints to Prosecution, to Police ( and against police when they did not complied with the duty in case of abused animals..) against animal abusers, killers and even hunters; more than 50 complaints to Inspections and other Institutions of relevance. We managed to close down one kill pound, Hunted down perpetrators who poisoned dogs and brought them upon Justice, Brought to Justice the organizer of dog fights, Managed to stop the mass hunt of deer in national park ”Djerdap”, Managed to stop the huge hunt on wolf ( 1.000 hunters on wolf) on “Zlatibor” .. we did all this publically. Many cases we did undercover and still are gathering evidence. We were ”at hand” for all citizens who wanted to file a complaint to Police or to Prosecution against animal abusers, we patently gave all needed information on how to file a complaint, helped them to build a case against abusers or took case under our jurisdiction and proceeded with case buildup, finalized investigation and sent pleas and demands to Police and Prosecution in name of our Organizations together with citizens. By all that time we acted like the Public Service on subject of animal protection and animal abuse. We constantly informed and educated Citizens about their rights to act, to call Police if they are witnessing animal cruelty, we gave out all information about Law and Article 269 of the Criminal Law of Serbia, together with the set of important Laws that are relevant in cases of animal abuse, as we want to empower people to act and to speak up against animal abuse. Article 269 od Criminal Law of Serbia states that for every animal abuse or killing there is a penalty (varying from money penalty to prison penalty) and other separate set of Laws ( law on animal protection) which protect animals from abuse formulate penalty for such crime.
