Mission: Metra is a non-profit alliance of government agencies that have partnered to provide environmental leadership and compliance training to other organizations, businesses and government.
Programs: The health industry environmental workshop is designed for health related services including; general medical, dental, nursing, chiropractic, pharmaceutical and veterinary medicine. The curriculum is directed toward proper management of regulated wastes, such as: biomedical waste, pharmaceutical waste, mercury-containing devicies, x-ray waste and other medical waste streams.
the swerp workshop is designed to educate state and local regulators, consultants, contractors, land developers and property owners on wetlands and stormwater compliance in florida. The workshop is designed to educate attendees about florida environmental resource permitting and put them in contact with experts who will be able to answer regulatory and technical questions.
