Causes: Education, Two-Year Colleges
Mission: To provide financial support for metropolitan community college's students, faculty, programs and facilities through donations of cash and non-cash by corporations, associations and individuals.
Programs: Provide mcc program and student support. Student scholarships are offered each fall and spring, providing students with merit, interest and/or need-based support for tuition, fees, books, and required classroom supplies. Emergency aid is provided on an as-needed basis for students who require one-time support in order to remain in college.
provide in-kind donations. The mcc foundation contributes non-cash gifts it receives to metropolitan community college for departmental, program, and general use. For example, donations of career education equipment offer students workforce-relevant, hands-on educational opportunities to prepare them for high-demand occupations after graduation.
