Mission: The vision of the meridian medical arts charter high school is to foster academic excellence by providing a health science education of the highest caliber using the following three-fold approach. (continued on schedule o)academic: providing an innovative broad-based curriculum that integrates the health sciences. Technical: utilizing a practical application of scientific skills and academic knowledge beyond the classroom. Ethical: fostering an understanding of relevant ethical issues encountered in the health science professions.
Programs: Meridian medical arts charter high school (mmachs) is a free four-year public charter high school. While providing students with immediately applicable, practical skills, our comprehensive, health science-centered curriculum also equips students with the tools they need to succeed as they progress to the post-secondary level. Our dual credit opportunities and certifications in cna, emt, and health information provide our students a springboard into their pre-med, nursing, paramedics, and medical assisting degrees. We strive to produce compassionate medical professionals with relevant, real-world experience who are ready to serve both our local and global communities. Mmachs provided education to 194 students in grades 9-12 with an interest in pursuing a health care career.
