Mercy home operates 5 intermediate care facilities (icf) which provide 24-hour staffing support and includes clinical and direct support services. Residents enjoy learning skills that foster independence. They participate in recreational and cultural activities throughout brooklyn, queens, and long island. Our homes have an aggregate capacity to serve a total of 58 individuals at a time. During 2017, the icfs provided a home to 63 people. The total days of care billed for was 21,745.
mercy home operates 8 individualized residential alternatives (ira) for individuals with developmental disabilities. These family-style homes provide 24-hour staff support and supervision and offer resources and help develop skills they need to live as independently as possible. Each person has creative choices in activities and things to learn. Residents enjoy cultural activities throughout new york city. These homes have an aggregate capacity to serve 48 people. The emphasis is on personal choice, building fuller, more meaningful lives through resources and opportunities in the community that match their interests and needs. Our highly trained case managers work one-on-one with participants and their family members to ensure that each individual receives the support and services necessary to develop self-advocacy skills and maximum independence.
