Mission: Mobilizing spiritually mature men who are intentional disciplemakers
Programs: Men's ministry network is a growing movement of men dedicated to intentionally following jesus and his command to multiply spiritually mature disciplemakers within local churches of the greater chattanooga area. In support of pastors and men's lay leaders, men's ministry network calls men out of a passive life in the pews to become the leaders god intended them to be in their families, churches, workplace and community. We believe this kind of leadership is the key to building up our churches, our cities and our nation. Most negative societal issues can be traced back to a man who does not understand who god designed him to be in key areas of his life. Men's ministry network hosts quarterly evening dinner conferences and an annual one-day multi-speaker men's equipping conference designed to challenge men and churches from around the region to engage in this growing disciplemaking movement. In 2017, nearly 400 men attended this one-day conference. In 2016 men's ministry network announced an exciting 10-year vision to tangibly impact the men in churches across the chattanooga region. We call it the 10-10-10 vision. Over the next 10 years we will partner with 10 percent of the churches in our region to see 10 percent of their men walking with god, succeeding in life, and spiritually multiplying. Our potential impact: 5 committed men can multiply to 80 disciplemakers in 5 years and continue reproducing to 10,000 by the end of a decade -- even if half the men drop out! That seems like a big number, but along with one of our national ministry partners we are already proving that this is a realistic possibility. In june, 2015, four groups with 16 men started the journey to become spiritually mature disciplemakers. Less than two and a half later, 38 men from 17 groups have completed the journey and 14 of these "graduates" are joined by 43 not yet graduates" leading a total of 57 groups with 223 men. Imagine how the quality of men in the chattanooga region will be impacted when thousands, young and old, are being discipled.
