Mission: When the Cumberland Presbyterian Church moved its seminary to Memphis in 1964, church leaders intentionally opened the doors to men and women of all races, denominations, and cultures. Over the past forty years, the seminary has experienced remarkable growth and has gained wide recognition and accreditation. Today, the seminary continues to foster ecumenical cooperation, scholarship, piety, and justice through its curricular design of degree programs and special projects.
