Meliorism Works Fund helped me when I was in a time of need. Katheryn is extremely kind and dedicated to the mission of this organization! My name is Rosa & I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I was behind on some bills & I was told about Meliorism & the great service they provide. I met with Ms. Kathryn & she was so attentive, warm & reassuring that everything would work out. This non-profit organization helps people when they feel like they have defeated obstacles. I appreciate them so much & I look forward to staying apart of the family. They genuinely care & I could sense that almost immediately when meeting with Kathryn. I thank you all so much & I encourage people if you need any prayers or counseling or just someone to talk to, Meliorism is the way to go.

I am a senior citizen without any income. I needed financial assistance to cover the cost of my dental replacement not knowing how I would be able cover the cost, thanks to Meliorism Work Fund that came to my assistance and covered the entire cost. I am eternally grateful. May this Organisation and the people who support it financially go from strength to strength.Thanks for looking out and helping the needy. May God continue to bless you. I am astounded by the help I was able to get from this organization. The initial meeting I had with Ms. Kathryn Wheat was lovely. She displayed such compassion towards me and has even followed up to see how I was doing. It is her and this non-profit that has helped to lift me from very sunken place. In such a time to be alive on earth, it is quite heartwarming to know that an organization such as this exists. I am eternally grateful for the much needed help I was given and will pay it forward some how.

I've worked with MWF and the amazing Kathryn Wheat dozens of times across the last year through my supervisory position at a major nonprofit. She assisted countless clients we served in New Castle County to meet needs that other providers were unable to. Just a few examples: they were able to assist someone in obtaining their dentures! Another client was able to pay off a judgement that was preventing them from securing a lease for their family to get off the streets. She assisted another client with the down-payment for the car they needed to get to and from work. Oh, and their were the countless power bills and overdue rent payments. MWF is an incredible resource for this community. Please support and donate to this very worthy cause so they may continue to serve Delaware and beyond for years to come.

I am a stage 4 metastasize cancer patient with cancer on my entire spine. I also was a victim of domestic violence & suffer from depression and PTSD. I recently had to move with these disadvantages due to a landlord selling the property. And had no time and no money to move. Due to this nonprofit organization, and the help from Kathryn Hope Wheat, I was able to get assistance to help with the additional insurmountable bills that I have to face on a limited fixed income, as well as additional medical bills that are not covered by insurance. Without this help, I probably would be on the street. Without the understanding & compassion that Kathryn Hope Wheat provided, I would feel unheard, and worthless. Although I continue to struggle, this nonprofit was able to help me feel hope for me with my given situation.

I am so grateful for Meliorism Works. The financial relief they gave given me has made a huge differance in my life. I was struggling to make ends meet and living on my own after a18 year relationship ended. My car was in need of mechanic work and I couldn't afford to purchase the parts needed, let alone the labor, amongst other bills. I am now able to get my car fixed, get caught up on bills and put some groceries in my fridge. Katherine was such an empathetic and down to earth person. She listened to my story with compassion and non judgemental. She is such a sweet women and she has definitely living with purpose. The process for applying for the grant wasn't hard, and only took a few days to receive help. I will be forever grateful. The donors should be rest assured that their money is really helping those in need.

I had a wonderful experience with Meliorism Works Fund. They are so kind and easy to work with. Kathryn is so supportive and knowledgeable. The grant Meliorism Works Fund provided me helped me in sooo many ways, it was something I never could have imagined someone would do. I especially appreciated how they let me decide how I would like to apply the grant myself to what I thought were the important ways that would help me. There were no strings that said I had to use the grant in a certain way. That is unique and much appreciated. I was able to get some work done on my car. I was able to take my cat to the Vet for an eye check that I was unable to afford. I paid some $$ toward a credit card that can be used for medical things to have on hand in case I need it. And I bought myself a pair of sneakers on sale & with a coupon, I've needed them for quite a number of years!! Meliorism Works Fund has made a big positive difference in my life. I met Mrs Kathryn last year and went to her in regards to help with my business. She was able to assist me, kept in contact and helped me out. Overall she is a very nice and pleasant woman.

The Meliorism Works Fund is a wonderful organization. I work as a Care Manager for a counseling agency and they’ve assisted every one of my clients who had a financial need for various issues such as dentures, rental assistance, utilities, outstanding judgements just to name a few. I’ve worked with Kathryn who is amazing! She is not only very knowledgeable, she is also highly empathetic and caring. This organization, in my opinion, is doing God’s work on this earth and I will support them in anyway possible so they can continue to help people in need.

I sat down with A staff Member And Was able To Get A lot Off Of My Chest. I Was Able To identify things That I Needed To Work Problems That I Had Within. Also I’m Staying In A Hotel Right Now With My Two Daughters And This Charity Help Pay For a couple Of Nights.Now I’m Working With A therapist and different Home agency to Become Mental And Financially stable.

Thanks to Meliorism Works Fund and to the kindest person I ever met Kathryn. She was the one who contacted me and got all of my information. I had a bad tooth ache and needed root canal, she not only covered half of my root canal treatment but also the transportation and food whenever we were meeting. Their help and generosity meant the world to me and I was able to get rid of the bad tooth ache.

Hello my name is Latoya and I would like to share my wonderful experience with Meliorism Works Fund. When I found out about MWF I was living in a homeless shelter with my five year old son. My car note was due and if I missed the payment then my car would’ve been repossessed. I had just landed a job but wasn’t due to receive my first paycheck until two weeks. I contacted MWF and met with Kathryn. She was a sweet lady and bought me lunch. Being homeless can make you feel invisible but Kathryn sat with me and got to know me and learn my story. I felt seen and heard. Her energy warmed my heart and it felt good to just be seen and feel heard. After lunch MWF paid my car note for the next two months! This provided me with the relief I needed at a very difficult time on my life because of Meliorism Works Fund help I was able to move out of the homeless shelter and be able to keep my car! I’m forever grateful to them and it’s beautiful that they help people in times of need!

I would like to share an experience I recently had. After not having teeth for quite awhile my counselor referred me to the Meliorism Fund. I was on my last fitting for my dentures and thinking that my insurance was going to cover the most of my dentures I was told I still needed 1,150.00 I didn't know what do do. I called the number that my counselor gave me and spoke with Miss Katherine. I was scared but as soon as she returned my call I felt so much better. We set up an appointment and met the following Thursday. The Meliorism Works Fund paid my entire balance and today I have teeth again. The experience I had was wonderful. I am so happy I feel like I've been blessed I can eat again and smile again. I feel like the luckiest person in the world.

Meliorism works has been a saving grace. Due to certain circumstances I had to have most of my teeth removed and they helped me fund the replacement teeth, without them I would still be struggling to eat, lacking proper nutrition, and not having a proper lifestyle. They offer a wide range of help.. and do not discriminate based on financial situations.. my angels ������ ������ ������ ������

I am proud to be apart of MWF’s vision by serving as a Board member. As someone with extensive experience supporting people with few monetary resources, removing barriers to accessing cash is exactly what our society needs. Some of the hardest working people I know struggle financially and challenging the old moralistic paradigm around poverty is long overdue. MWF is about giving people what they need: Money and Hope.

Love this non-profit’s mission to work with those who are struggling financially by providing cash gifts! Sometimes it just takes a little cash to keep someone’s life from crashing while getting themselves stabilized from an acute financial shortage.
