Programs: Hope rehabilitation center in chennai,india has been helping disabled, disadvantaged and destitute children and adults in india for over 39 years. Hope rehabilitation center (hrc) is a project of meap association of india. Hrc has focused in two main areas. 1) helping handicapped children by providing surgeries needed to straighten their limbs, the braces and calipers needed to learn to walk on their own, the physical therapy needed to strengthen their arms and legs and the education needed to succeed in life. 2) training handicapped young men and women to be entry level computer technicians and training handicapped young women to be office workers.
