Mission: The mission of the McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for minority, impoverished, and other underserved residents of Greater Durham through educational enrichment, community service, community programs, and partnerships with various organizations throughout the community.
Results: Social Distance Trunk or Treat Thanksgiving Feed-A-Family- Provided and Delivered Thanksgiving dinner for 75 families in Durham and Orange County McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation Partners with the Durham NPHC for the Christmas Toy Drive The McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation partnered with the Marine Toys for Tots of Raleigh, NC for the 2020 Christmas Toy Distribution for 70+ children in the Durham and surrounding areas. The McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation partnered with the Delta Zeta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. for the 2020 Angel Tree Gift Donations for the Durham and Triangle area communities.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Feed 75 families for Thanksgiving, Donated Chromebooks to elementary students, Provided toys for over 100 children for Christmas, Gave 5 high school seniors a scholarship, mentor and tutor at risk males between age of 10-16, Provided and distributed personal protective equipment, provided safety at voting sites to prevent voter suppression
