(mchsh) was incorporated in december 2015 as a nonprofit, nonstock corporation to facilitate the expansion of mchs hospital services through acquisition or construction. The hospitals will be operated by mchsh in collaboration with marshfield clinic, inc (mc). Mchsh received an irs determination letter granting tax-exempt status on june 20, 2016. In june 2017, mchsh completed the purchase of certain assets of saint joseph's hospital located in marshfield, wisconsin.
