Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Community Improvement & Capacity Building, Human Service Organizations, Human Services, Public & Societal Benefit
Mission: To improve early childhood development and family support services in mccloud, ca and the surrounding area.
Programs: Accomplishments for year include using our current funding for our community support programs we have served a generous portion of the mccloud population. We implemented a girls circle program that helps promote self esteem and community involvement. Teens helping seniors have been beneficial to both the teens and the seniors, meeting the needs of the community by promoting self reliance for seniors and work experience for teens. These teens were also used in the clean up mccloud event. Our father/child bar-b-q and summer fun program was able to help parents interact with their children and promote healthy living habits. Our senior in need program assisted many of our homebound seniors with heating, food and clothing. We send a newsletter to residents by mail and our mental health services and senior services continue to be a welcomed in our community. We have maintained a majority of our programs from previous years and continue to build on our successes.
