Mission: Rehabilitation and counseling
Programs: Residential services: mccall house is a residential substance abuse facility for men and women 18 years and older who have typically completed an intensive treatment program; participants work in the community while living in a recovery environment; individual and group counseling provides ongoing support and structure. Warner house and fenton house provide similar programs and are available exclusively for men currently involved in the criminal justice system.
outpatient services: adult behavioral healthcare (substance abuse and mental health services) are provided through weekly individual and group counseling; specialty groups include men's groups, women's groups, relapse prevention groups, and separate anger management groups for both men and women. Intensive outpatient programs meeting three times per week are also offered during day and nighttime hours for alcohol or drug dependent persons who could benefit from more structured treatment; sessions are four to five hours in length and focus on building a variety of recovery skills; aftercare groups for continuing recovery support are available for graduates of both the day and evening programs.
inpatient services: the carnes weeks center is a 20-bed intensive residential substance abuse program for men and women 18 years and older; individual and group[ counseling, substance abuse education, introduction to 12-step programs, and family involvement are offered during this 28-day program; clients work together with their counselors to design their own, individualized recovery plans; aftercare groups are available for graduates of the program.
