Mission: The maui farm provides farm-based, family-centered programs that teach essential life skills for self-sufficient living. We offer services in a safe neighborhood setting, where individuals and families are nurtured to develop their full potential.
Programs: The family strengthening program(fsp) is an innovative farm-based residential program serving families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to domestic violence and economic issues. With a focus on the whole family, the program provides opportunity for daily learning and application of healthy life skills and effective parenting strategies.
farm-based programs for the community provides values training and skills training through hands-on activities in sustainable agriculture offered in an educational farm environment, including school and community gardens, employment in training, and friends of the maui farm volunteer program.
the stipend program is a job readiness and skills training opportunity for adult participants in the maui farm's family strengthening program, to better prepare them for re-entry into the workforce. The stipend program provides on-the-job skills training, coaching and supervision, and support for achievement of personal employment goals.
