Causes: Child Abuse Prevention, Crime & Law, Domestic Violence
Mission: To enhance justice for children who have been maltreated by: strenghthening the system's response to their needs; ensuring that services are appropriate, timely, and comprehensive; in order to heal, strenghten, and prevent further traumatization.
Programs: Develop, establish, and operate training programs designed to improve the handling of child abuse and neglect cases in the state of hawaii. Training programs improve the skills of various professionals involved in child advocacy and protection services in the county of maui so they may better serve the needs of the community.
