Mission: Mli is dedicated to building a better world through safe births and secure families. These goals are achieved through training and resource assistance in obstetrical and newborn care, hiv prevention and care, marriage and family life formation and healthy child spacing through natural means of fertility awareness.
Programs: Mli's faithful house program in hiv prevention has reached 200,000 couples in multiple countries in africa. Training programs in safe birth including ultrasound training have reached over 100 obstetrical care providers in uganda. In uganda and tanzania, 600 couples have received training in natural family planning and fertility awareness.
since its inception, the faithful house program has reached 1600 couples in various regions of northern haiti. Additional work includes the acquisition of and deeding of land for a training center in milot, haiti.
magnificat maternal health program (mmhp) has provided basic laboratory equipment, an ekg machine, obstetrical training manekins and on-site maternal health training. Mmhp has helped with further construction and infrastructure improvements at grimard midwifery school so that the school can further expand its enrollment to 70 midwifery students per class.
