Mission: The Resource Partnership, founded in 1978 as Massachusetts Project With Industry, provides benefits planning and job placement assistance services to individuals with all types of disabilities. Individuals served are primarily those whose lives and careers have been interrupted by injury or illness and who are in the process of re-entering the work force either in their former field of work, or in a new field selected to reflect their current abilities. There is no cost to the consumer for services.
To the employer community, the Resource Partnership provides the referral of qualified job candidates, post-employment follow-up, and assistance throughout the application and hiring process. Assistance may be provided in the areas of interviewing techniques, reasonable accommodations, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and accessing tax credits. Additional services are available such as the option to hire employees on a temp-to-hire basis, disability awareness training, outplacement services, and ADA accessibility evaluations of buildings and company property.
