Mission: The prevention of sexual abuse by educating professionals and public officials regarding best practices and the need for early and specialized intervention, assessment, treatment and management in the lives of sexually abusive children and youth.
Programs: Masoc co-sponsored its 20th annual conference. The conference is designed for professionals to share new ideas, refresh current practices, network with other providers, and welcome new professionals to the specialized field of sexual abuse/offense diagnosis and treatment. The conference hosted a national and international audience of over 600 participants over the course of three days. The organization also continued its work towards the development and implementation of best practices in the diagnosis and treatment of sexually abusive children and youth.
