Mission: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) provide consistency and support for children in the Marin County Juvenile Court System who have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Without compromise CASAs speak up for the best interests of their children in the courtroom and the Child Welfare System to ensure that they are safe and their needs are being met.
Results: In 2021, Marin CASA served 94 children with 63 volunteers, contributing over 3,000 hours of intensive, one-on-one advocacy

Programs: The Marin CASA program is appointed to every dependency case as well as additional probation and probate cases in the Marin county juvenile court system. The Marin CASA program recruits, screens, trains and supervises all volunteers who play an essential role in advocating for children and youth ages 0-21 throughout the entire court process.
