I believe that this is a very important foundation. The USA spends billions of dollars every year on the so-called "War on Drugs," and the results have been very disappointing. Moreover, research continues to demonstrate that marijuana is no more harmful to individuals or socieites than alcohol, which is currently a legal means of relaxation for millions of people in this country. If marijuana were to be legalized and taxed, billions of dollars would be flowing INTO the Government's treasury, rather than the reverse, and hundreds of thousands of users would no longer be prosecuted, fined, and jailed for simply pursuing their own choice of relaxants.
uhhh... bullshit
