Mission: The purpose of the marian movement of priests is to provide a means for priests and laity of the catholic church to achieve a genuine spiritual renewal of their catholic commitment to the gospel of jesus christ
Programs: In honor of the centenary year of the 1917 apparitions, the annual international clergy retreat was held in fatima, portugal from july 2-8, 2017, followed by a retreat for the laity from july 8-12. Owing to the generosity of our member donors, we were able to sponsor priests from the u. S. , india, and lebanon to attend. The mmp international director, fr. Laurent larroque, conducted a cenancle tour of the united states during january 2017, traveling to twelve cities. The telephone cenacles that began on jan. 1, 2016 are now held every evening at have seen a marked increase in participaton. At the end of october, national cenacle retreats for the clergy and laity were held at the shrine of the most blessed sacrament in hanceville, alabama. A redesigned mmp-usa national website was launched in 2017. Large quantities if the non-commercial edition of the book, to the priests, our lady's beloved sons continue to be disseminated annually.
