The March for Education Foundation under the direction of Mr. Timothy Cooper is an exemplary asset to many urban families. The foundation provides numerous supplementary resources to forgotten communities. Some of the support services provided include: back to school book bag give aways, college student support, lifestyle guidance, after-school tutorials, summer and parental support activities among many other positive academic and social life enhancing assistance.Mr. Timothy Cooper and his Foundation team members have demonstrated genuine passion and knowledge in their quest in helping children and their families achieve successful lifestyles and high expectations for themselves.Kudos to you all. I have had the absolute pleasure of standing by Mr. Cooper for the past year to ensure the voices of our youth remain heard in their education. He is dedicated and hardworking I have seen first hand the power of March for Education foundation. I can not wait to see how what they accomplish as the teams continue to grow and they can help more areas. Right now they are in Middletown and Bridgeport, they provide educational resources for youth and college students from everyday school supplies to care packages for College students. Quarterly Clothing drives, annual March for Education festivals, when we fill the streets with as many supporters as possible and let everyone shout about how amazing Education is, handout backpacks and school supplies and have as much fun as possible. They deserve to be supported and funded! #MFEF!
I believe that anything is possible with this foundation and I look forward to working with you guys for many years to come!

It has been a pleasure getting to know Mr. Timothy Cooper, the Executive Director and Founder of March for Education Foundation and the rest of team. In getting to know Mr. Cooper, I began to see the vision that he has for the organization. His hard work and dedication matched with the determination and willingness of the Youth Department is quite impressive.
This organization is a great organization to support. The executive/founder has a committed heart to celebrate education and advocate for the youth and all students. He strives to see everyone succeed.
When one thinks about education, local and private elementary and high schools may come to mind. Within this community, there are so many issues that some of the schools just may not have the resources to tackle. Under exposed non-profits such as MFE have so much potential to edify the youth/students within the community by offering community based programs such as: afterschool programs, summer enrichment programs, leadership, diversity programs, self-awareness and so much more that help with literacy and social-emotional development. Working with March for Education foundation has been a great honor. I am truly thankful to be able to see the wonderful things MFE contributes to our community and see the growth year after year.
I first met Mr. Cooper, the founder of the Foundation about 4 years ago when I was running for the Bridgeport Board of Education. Mr. Cooper and the Foundations annual march to celebrate education reminds parents and politicians that there is more than advocating for money, more than protesting the severe underfunding of our locality by it’s Mayor. It’s about celebrating the very reason education advocates such as myself get involved. Our children must be celebrated. And on that one day the Foundation holds its Bridgeport parade I am forced to put aside my political animosity and stand side by side with all to celebrate education! Please support the mission of the foundation which in addition to the parade also prepares care packages for college bound students and many other activities.

The March for Education Foundation provides much needed free resources for children in the Bridgeport & Middletown communities. I have supported the foundation for the entire 11 years of its existence. They understand the key to our children's future success is thru education. They provide great after school and summer school programs for children. Their annual parade and community day event has become a major success. I am honored to be a part of a wonderful organization over the years. They have had such a positive impact on children's lives. They teach, inspire, help, motivate and educate many children each year. The provide much needed positive and educational guidance for children. They are an Amazing Foundation that really cares & loves helping children. I wish more people would get involved with The March for Education Foundation. Educating our children is the main focus in today's modern world and, The March for Education Foundation understands that education is a lifelong tool for success . I would love for the Mayors office, the City of Bridgeport and community citizens to support The March for Education more in future endeavors.
The foundation has overcome a lot of obstacles when serving youth but has managed to continue its mission for 11 years, building a new team of youth has given it new life
I think that a great nonprofit doesn’t have to be big but have a big impact. March for education has been serving the Bridgeport community for at least 10 years. Supplying care packages to college students, offering summer activities like skating even giving cash contributions to graduating seniors The community has united over the years and faithfully supported the annual parades. The Middletown CT community has also taken advantage of this great organization and will celebrate the children with heir second parade.

I have been honored with the pleasure of volunteering for March for Education. to assist in parades meetings and other services over the years. This thriving organization can be a great help to the children if they are supported. The people involved support the organization with their own contributions with the support of a few faithful business owners. The community should really wake up and recognize what they have right under their noses. This organization offered after school activities in school activities and even the opportunity to gain experience for college students. It’s a vast variety of support right under the communities noses. WAKE UP!!
March for Education has consistently reflected the power, and passion we have for our childrens education opportunity’s and their rights for over a decade in our Bridgeport community! My good friend Timothy Cooper is the current founder of March for education and his purpose to push this annual celebration forward in Bridgeport is because we all demand the best education and best experience for our children at all of our local schools!!!
March for Education is an amazing organization that has sustained Its self for 10 years with the help of donations for the student who they serve. Timothy Cooper , who founded March for education has maintained the mission and continues to move forward even with many obstacles . I believe that this mission is a plus because there force is only on the children they serve .
March for Education is a great organization that gives back to the community. It encourages our youth to stay on school, do their best and strive for greatness. I really enjoyed their last event on September 23 and am very proud of the organization.
What is March For Education? A dream that my brother has to encourage students to stay in school and to bring the family unity closer, he knows knowledge is power and he's fighting everday to give awareness and support to families ...when I see the joy on the kids faces I know he makes a difference ..so proud of you, keep up the good work.

I had an amazing experience being here with all the youth for a positive cause. Mr. Timothy is one of the best mentors to have. He does so much for the youth with love and compassion. I was more than happy to be apart and help the organization anyway I can.

March For Education is a great organization. It provided an opportunity for my students to speak to their peers and their community about what they feel is impacting them.
This foundation is great and doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Our children's education is number one, but it won't get better in Bridgeport if we don't help. Support this foundation, they will do great things for our children if they have the resources.
I have volunteered my time with March for Education from its conception and found it to be an added source to the community for young people to be apart of. With me volunteering and being a part of this organization my daughter, my son, my niece and my sister-in-law have also find a place in March for Education.
for example; My daughter at 15 have learned secretarial skills by volunteering to take notes at meetings it was not easy at first but she was able to do so by receiving the help and instruction from someone who knew how to do it.
MY son at 13 put his leadership and promotional skills to work in MFE by recruiting his peers and older to help make a successful outing.
They all learned the concept of planning an event and what it takes as well how important it is to give back to the community.
I have also been able to see talented youth given the platform and opportunity to display their talents and gain confidence in themselves.
Also because of MFE some student were able to go our Capital had a great experience.
I strongly believe if we continue to gain the recognition of our leaders and community and financial support MFE will grow and do more.
This organization is like no other. Connecticut Against Violence Inc. uses Hip Hop music and entertainment as a way to engage with the youth and get our message of violence prevention to them. As the Executive Director who have volunteered to March For Education for numerous special events, I can testify that they uses similar tactic and it works for them. I have personally volunteered as a Disc Jockey for their events as well as the event planning team. I urge you to support this organization for the sake of our youth who needs a better educate to succeed.
