Mansfield Christian Camping Ministries operates Light & Life Christian Camp in Mansfield, Ohio. We provide a place for families to fellowship in a Christian environment while camping. Our focus is on children and youth camps. Camping ministry does something beyond what a church can do in a young person's life. Many decisions are made for Christ. People who spend time on the campgrounds leave changed. The organization is currently funded by individual donations and all "workers" are volunteers so 100% of donations go straight into the ministry. Even though it has been a sacrifice both in my finances and hard physical work, I have loved being part of MCCM. God holds the camp in His hands and uses it today as in years ago under a church denomination to revitalize your walk with Him or meet Him for the first time. The rustic conditions make you slow down and want to know Him more while engaging with others in a lot of fun. I can't wait to be there!
