Mission: The manhattan beach education foundation is a community driven fund raising organization, which supplements state funding for programs that inspire learning, enrich teaching, and promote innovation and academic excellence in the public schools of manhattan beach.
Programs: Mbef grants to the manhattan beach unified school district pay for teachers and educators' salaries and other academic and enrichment program costs. The grants are spread out over each of the district's seven schools which serve approximately 7,000 students.
mbef contributes annually to the manhattan beach education foundation endowment fund.
